Lee McGuiness

Lee McGuinness leads a growing, highly experienced, culturally diverse team of professionals who provide agile, tailor-made pharmacovigilance solutions to biotech companies and innovators in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Prior to joining Premier Research, he was the Head of Clinical Trial Safety Management for Novartis, where he managed a department with teams in the United Kingdom and India.

Over the course of 25 years within the discipline, in roles of increasing responsibility, Mr. McGuiness has accumulated a wide range of experience in pharmacovigilance, including individual case study report management and reporting, aggregate report writing, risk management plans, and signal detection. Working within the big pharma environment has given him critical insight into the deployment of best practices and the nuanced needs of sponsors, both large and small, and has shaped his strategic vision for pharmacovigilance at Premier.

Mr. McGuiness has a biomedical science degree from Kingston University and is based in the U.K.
