Daniel Zamfir, MBA

Daniel Zamfir, Executive Director, Program Strategy, Cell and Gene Therapy, draws on his nearly 25 years of preclinical and clinical research experience to develop operational strategies for clients in the Cell and Gene space and rare diseases. He has directly managed more than two dozen phase I-IV global trials across a variety of therapeutic areas including oncology, neuroscience, and dermatology, and acquired a passion for advanced therapeutics and precision medicine.

Prior to joining Premier Research, Daniel was Executive Lead of Operational Strategy Management for a large CRO overseeing the strategic planning of trials in oncology/hematology with a specific focus on Cell and Gene Therapies.

Daniel holds an MBA in International Business Management and a BSc in Health Sciences.
