Paul Spreen

Paul Spreen serves as Chief Commercial Officer at Premier Research, where he oversees the organization’s global commercial strategy. In this role, Mr. Spreen is responsible for business development, client partnerships, and go-to-market execution to support sustained growth.  

Mr. Spreen brings more than 25 years of commercial leadership experience in the life sciences industry, with a proven track record of building high-performing teams and driving accelerated growth. During his time with IQVIA (previously Quintiles) he held several global leadership roles, most recently EVP and Chief Commercial Officer. Throughout his career he has built and scaled commercial, clinical, and corporate development organizations through periods of rapid growth, M&A, and operational transformation. 

His experience spans the full life sciences value chain—from early discovery through development, regulatory strategy, and commercialization—bringing a broad, enterprise-level perspective to strengthening performance, capturing market opportunity, and advancing complex programs.
