Premier Research And NUHS Centre For Innovation In Healthcare (CIH) Partner To Facilitate Adoption Of Health Innovations

SINGAPORE, AUGUST 20, 2019 — A strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) has been signed between Premier Research and the Centre of Innovation in Healthcare (CIH), part of the leading academic institution National University Health System (NUHS) in Singapore.

CIH is a one-stop hub that facilitates the clinical adoption of health innovations for maximum benefit to patients and the population. Through test-bedding, user feedback, clinical trials, and health technology assessment, as well as strategic partnership, business development, and active engagement with health users, CIH aims to accelerate health technology and innovation, from idea to impact.

Premier Research has been identified as a valued partner to expand the center’s clinical capabilities and offer services to support the development of clinical evidence. The complementary capabilities of the two organizations will help grow the Singapore health technology ecosystem. Ashish Jain, Premier’s vice president and head, Asia-Pacific, together with Professor Lawrence Ho Khek-Yu, director of CIH, NUHS, announced the collaboration in a joint meeting on August 1.

In support of this alliance, Sundeep Shrivastava, Premier’s executive director of Clinical Development Services, Medical Device and Diagnostics, along with Joanne Yoong of NUHS, will present a learner-centric workshop at the CIH 1st Health Technology Adoption Workshop & Forum in Singapore on August 29, 2019.
