Premier Research is proud to return as a sponsor of the World Orphan Drug Congress (WODC) for our 9th year. We’ve been at WODC US and Europe since the beginning, and it’s been gratifying to watch the series grow year after year.
And 2019 is no different – we can’t wait to see what new innovations get presented at this year’s Pitch and Partner event. As you know, partnership is at the center of everything we do and defines our relationships with sponsors, patients, sites, regulators – everyone who shares our commitment to advancing the amazing science that is making possible therapeutic breakthroughs that were unthinkable only a few years ago.
Juliet Moritz, Vice President, Patient & Stakeholder Engagement is also on the WODC agenda, taking a patient-centric look at drug development and commercial access. She will explore patient-centric drug development starting with the end goal and working backwards to examine how early planning can affect the end result of a development program and the ultimate goal of commercial access.
From creating patient-specific cell therapies to harnessing the power of artificial intelligence in clinical research, new ideas are radically changing the way we think and interact. There surely has never been a more exciting and rewarding time to work in development of orphan drugs.
We’re expecting to see great things in April, and look forward to connecting with you!
