Vice President, Functional Services
As head of functional services at Premier Research, Keith Fine oversees functional and strategic alliances between Premier Research and the pharmaceutical and biotech companies it serves. These alliances promote innovation and help sponsor companies navigate the development and commercialization of life-changing products.
Mr. Fine joined Premier Research in 2004. Prior to that he was Technical Operations Manager for the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group, and he began his career as a clinical programmer at pharmaceutical company Sepracor.
“It’s a privilege to lead such a talented team and witness its awe-inspiring dedication to helping people who need the most advanced treatment available.”
While he finds advancing clinical research “incredibly rewarding,” Mr. Fine didn’t fully realize the importance of Premier Research’s contributions until he began volunteering at AstraZeneca’s Hope Lodge Center, a temporary residential facility for families of cancer patients being treated at Boston hospitals. “I’m afforded the incredible opportunity to directly interact with, support, and be educated by oncology patients whose stories dig deeper than the clinical data we collect and analyze.”
He also volunteers for the Greater Boston Food Bank and for Quincy Community Action Programs, a nonprofit that combats poverty in the Boston area.
Mr. Fine holds a master’s degree in economics and a bachelor’s in administration, both from the University of New Hampshire.
