Premier Research Receives Magazine’s 2018 CRO Leadership Award

DURHAM, N.C., APRIL 27, 2018 — Premier Research has been named a 2018 CRO Leadership Award winner by Life Science Leader magazine. The publication annually asks pharmaceutical and biopharma companies to rate the capability and performance of contract research organizations.

Premier Research was recognized in five of six award categories:

Capabilities — the company’s access to specialized tests and equipment, ability to provide a broad range of services, patient access, and global presence, among other attributes.

Compatibility — project team chemistry, responsiveness, and timely communications.

Expertise — therapeutic breadth, local market and regulatory knowledge, and experience of the key investigator relationships, amongst others.

Quality — measuring data quality and the ability of project managers and clinical research associates.

Reliability — the ability to meet project timelines and deliver operational excellence with minimal staff turnover.

“Being recognized in five of Life Science Leader’s six award categories is a great honor and a testament to our commitment to quality in all that we do,” said Ludo Reynders, Premier Research CEO. “We built Premier Research around the needs of companies that are performing today’s most innovative drug and medical device development and that comprise more than 85 percent of our customer base. These companies are a beacon of hope for patients who previously had few to no options, and we are proud to support their pioneering work.”

Life Science Leader teamed with Industry Standard Research to assess 70 contract research organizations on more than 20 performance measures. Survey participants were recruited from pharma and biopharma companies of all sizes, screened for decision-making influence related to their work with the CROs being evaluated.
